01 / About me

I started running game servers at 13. For my gaming community, for the fun of it. The move to DevOps was no conscious decision. It was a continuation.

Working as a student researcher at university brought CI/CD into the picture, Xyntion brought the rest. Since then I build infrastructure that is reproducible, secure, and controllable.

Security and privacy are not a professional niche for me. They are conviction. I run my own services at home because I want to control my own data. At the same time I help other people move to the cloud. 🙃
